Alpha

The Alpha Course is a practical introduction to the Christian faith. Alpha is a 10-week course that offers the opportunity to explore the meaning of life. If God did exist, what would you ask Him? Each week we address such important questions together. At the end of the course is a weekend retreat away from the city, where groups continue their discussions.
What is it? A series of discussions exploring topics such as "Why does God allow evil?" and "Why and how should I pray?"
Who is it for? Anyone who has ever had a question about God, the meaning of life, injustice and suffering, death or the validity of other faiths. No question is too simple, too basic or too hostile.
What happens? Dinner is served at 7PM and is followed by a 30 minute talk. After the talk, each group discusses the topic of the talk, with plenty of opportunity for different opinions and questions.
Where does it take place? Alpha takes place in Anderson Hall, located at 61 Gramercy Park North (right behind Calvary Church.)
